Memory Man Delay

The memory man is a classic delay pedal and used by numerous guitarists. However, there are quite a few problems with the pedal. The volume knob remains active when the pedal is bypassed which makes making the effected and bypassed volume equal. It also means your signal is always going through this noisy buffer at all times. This KILLS your tone, and true bypass solves both of these problems. I offer two mods to really upgrade this pedal. The first is to upgrade the ICs in the circuit to lower noise chips which have less distortion as well. This makes the delay a bit cleaner and often makes the chorus and vibrato in the deluxe version even better! My second mod is to rewire the input buffer of the memory man for a much cleaner signal. This makes the bypass and the delay much cleaner. This redesign is actually so good you'll swear that it is True bypass! Less distortion and a much higher input impedance means it can handle a wider range of signals without any negative effects on the tone and alot less noise and clipping. The volume knob is disconnected since the volume is at unity gain and that's it. All trim pots are adjusted for optimum performance as well.
