The Phase 90 has been around forever as one of the best phasers available. Its compact and has just the right blend of shimmer to really make it sound amazing! The reissues are great pedals, but something has been lost over the years. The sound overloads sometimes and just doesn't sound as good as the original Script logo version. My script mod brings back the warmth and clarity the original had.
The univibe mod brings the sparkling swooshes to a whole new level. Make the sound a bit less monotonous. This mod gives the pulses of the old univibes, think Jimi Hendrix. Its a really unique sound thats just amazing.
MXR Phase 45 mod brings the Phase 90 back to its 2-stage Phase 45 sister-pedal. The Phase 90 is a 4-stage phaser which is often overwhelming for guitarists so the 45 mod is an excellent compromise to allow the original guitar tone to shine through. The mod involves installing a toggle switch on the pedal to select Phase 45 or Phase 90 mode.
The intensity knob adjusts the strength of the phase. The internal version is a trimmer inserted on the board. Allows you to adjust the intensity of the phase and really get a unique sound with a few minutes of tweaking.
