Ibanez DE7 Delay Echo

The Ibanez DE7 is a gem from the Tone-Lok 7 series. Its a great sounding pedal but the biggest complaint we’ve seen is the footswitch mechanism. Our rehousing was initially a response to correct this but also addresses some other minor issues. We replace the cheap ¼” jacks and move the DC jack from off of the PCB. A new soft-touch switch next to a larger LED. The pots and delay time switch are replaced as well. The Echo/Delay switch is replaced with a pot to allow you to blend between the the digital and analog-emulation setting. We also remove the dry output jack. After the rehousing there is no longer room for a 9V battery.

Rehousing comes in a bare metal enclosure. Black textured paint is an additional $15.

We are now offering an expression pedal jack option which allows the use of a Moog EP-3 Expression Pedal to adjust the delay time. When you rock the pedal forward to the “toe-down” position the DE7 will be at the shortest delay time setting and “heel-down” will be the longest delay time. The knob on the side of the EP-3 will set the range for shortest delay time and the delay time knob on the DE7 will set the range for the longest delay time available. When the expression pedal is unplugged the DE7 will function as normal.
