Wah Mods (Crybaby, Vox, and similar)

After years of offering mods that allow you to pick and choose your options we've decided to combine the best combination of mods and offer them at a discounted rate. The Standard Overhaul on these wah pedals were designed to refine the sound and create a more musical and versatile wah. A basic wah pedal can be very harsh and nasally. Our Overhaul gives a smoother transition from heel to toe, a fatter tone, and more control. The Overhaul also includes Gain and Sharpness controls mounted on the circuit board for fine tuning to your musical style. Upgrading the inductor to a Fasel inductor mellows out the midrange and contributes a bright, chiming tone.

The Overhaul does NOT include true bypass switching in the price. The true bypass mod can be added based on the pricing below and uses a Carling stomp switch to prevent signal drop out that some of the cheaper switches experience. Pre-modded Crybaby, Dunlop, and Vox boards are available; email to check current availability. If you're capable of removing your circuit board you can mail it to save on shipping costs; this only works on the Overhaul, not with true bypass modifications.

Wah pedals that make a scratchy noise when rocked are due for a potentiometer replacement. We offer high quality replacement pots as well as a noiseless wah pot mod. The noiseless mod uses a small, active circuit to ensure your pot will never get scratchy again and even includes a simple dial to adjust the taper of the wah.
