Danelectro DJ-1 Pastrami Overdrive rehousing

The rehousing of a pedal is usually for one of three reasons: size, structure, or work-space.
Size: Electro Harmonix pedals are very popular, but many of them take up far too much space on one's pedalboard.
Structure: Rehousing for durability is a bit more expensive since this involves replacing the jacks, switches, pots, casing, etc.
Work-space: Musicians often need more room for switches and new knobs being added. Transplanting the circuitry into a larger casing allows room for more add-ons.

Prices are on a case by case basis. A basic rehousing starts around $50. If the original casing is needed back please request that when asking for a price estimate. Paint jobs are available but usually add two weeks to the turn around time. Pedals are returned unlabeled. The above Big Muff label can be downloaded and printed for your own casings here. More pictures are available in the Gallery. The largest EH pedals such as the Poly Chorus, Memory Man, Microsynth, etc. can NOT be rehoused into a smaller casing. Cheaper pedals usually cost more to rehouse since low quality components will need to be replaced. Danelectro mini pedals usually start around $75.

Below is a casing used for a Boss pedal rehousing; the second hole is for a tap tempo switch on a Boss DD-5.  Dimensions are 4.5" x 5.5". Boss rehousings start around $60.
