The Ibanez Tube Screamer (TS9, TS5, TS10, TS7, TS808, and other variants) as well as the Boss Super Overdrive SD-1 are both very similar and popular pedals and are essential for most blues, rock, indie, and metal artists.
The two channel mod installs a second footswitch to change from channel 1 to channel 2 on the Ibanez TS-9 only. Each channel has independent drive and volume knobs. The LED changes from Red to Green depending on which channel you are on and turns off as usual when bypassed. The added channel has extended range for a bit more gain. Two channels in one, convienent package.
Many boutique clones have been reported to sound fuller when ran at 18V. Our 18V conversion allows the pedal to accept any regulated power supply from 9-18V. Please confirm that your power supply has a negative tip as 18V power supplies do not follow the same standard as 9V power supplies.
The popular TS-808 mod gives a warmer classic tone with the JRC4558D chip upgrade. Our mod includes changing the output section to match the original values of the TS-808.
Our Overhaul mod is for everyone that likes the Tube Screamer but doesn’t want their pedal to sound like another TS-808. We upgrade the IC, upgrade key audio capacitors, increase the max gain, bump up the low-end very slightly, and improve the tone control. These tweaks throughout the entire circuit still give you the original sound, just a fuller and more balanced version of it.
